American R&B and neo-soul star Jill Scott has cancelled the South African leg of her To Whom This May Concern World Tour, disappointing fans who were looking forward to seeing the Grammy Award-winning singer perform live in November.
In a statement received from promoter Showtime Management, the cancellation was due to “unforeseen circumstances”. The announcement confirmed that the singer’s scheduled South African performances would no longer go ahead, while leaving open the possibility of her return to the country in the future.

Scott was scheduled to perform at SunBet Arena, Time Square, in Pretoria on 7 November 2026, followed by a show at Grand Arena, GrandWest, in Cape Town on 11 November 2026.
Showtime Management apologised to fans for the disappointment and inconvenience caused, adding that Scott and her team were exploring the possibility of returning to South Africa at a later date. The statement also reaffirmed the singer’s affection for South African audiences and her desire to reconnect with fans.
